About The Position

As part of the health care team, the Pharmacist practices pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. The role provides pharmaceutical services, including drug information, to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. The Pharmacist advises these providers about drug interactions, contraindications, and other relevant information to support optimal and safe drug therapy. The role serves patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Must have an active Georgia Pharmacy license.

Nice To Haves

• One year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities
