Pharmacist 7on/7off, Overnight
About The Position
Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a highly energetic and clinically oriented pharmacist to join their remote pharmacy team. This Work From Home Staff Pharmacist position will utilize clinical skills to remotely service clients’ patients and provide continuity of care. The role involves remote order entry, CPOE order evaluation and verification, ensuring timely acquisition and renewal of pharmacy staff licenses, physician and nursing consultations, clinical medication dosing services, and reviewing/monitoring profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes. Pharmacists will also coordinate access to medications according to facility policy and procedures, and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. This position offers a flexible work schedule, a team environment, and the opportunity to focus on patient care outside of a traditional hospital setting.
Requirements
- Active pharmacy license(s) in state of residence as well as state of original licensure
- An active License in TX is required or ability to obtain
- Ability to gain reciprocity to additional states required for practice including but not limited to NC, FL, TX, SC, GA, LA, WI and VA
- Ability to gain reciprocity to additional states required for practice
- Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems
- Excellent communication skills to enable the successful interactions with other healthcare professionals to facilitate the delivery of competent clinical care
Nice To Haves
- An Active LA and/or GA license is preferred at time of offer
- 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred
- Remote work experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification
