About The Position
The Pharmacist holds a safety-sensitive position and manages and provides distributive and clinical pharmaceutical care to support optimum patient outcomes. The Pharmacist also provides direction and serves as a resource for hospital and medical staff. This position has been identified as safety-sensitive under Oklahoma law; employers may refuse to hire or may discipline or discharge employees in safety-sensitive jobs who test positive for marijuana, even if they hold a valid medical marijuana license.
Requirements
- Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
- Ability to interpret patient orders.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to prepare all types of intravenous medications, including chemotherapy.
- Ability to actively monitor various aspects of pharmacy services.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of hospital experience is preferred.
