About The Position

The Pharmacist helps ensure medication services are compliant and delivered safely and on time, supports facility staff with drug-related questions, and works with pharmacy technicians and other team members. Requirements

• B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in the state or states where practicing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and standards of practice.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Conduct medication assessments and complete drug-monitoring paperwork.
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure medications and supplies arrive on time.
• Answer facilities’ drug-related questions and concerns and help solve problems.
• Assist with drug procurement and process orders.
• Stay aware of current controlled-substance laws and regulations, as well as Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.
