About The Position

We are currently seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Nassau in Yulee, Florida. This role involves various shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, and is based in our Central Pharmacy, IV room, and OR Satellite. The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, supervising technicians, and consulting with medical staff on medication therapy. This position offers a hybrid function within the central pharmacy and an opportunity to gain clinical experience.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required
- Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required
- Bachelor of Science Required
- A Pharmacist license within the State of Florida is required.
Nice To Haves
- In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy Experience is preferred
- PGY1 Residency is preferred
Responsibilities
- Entering orders with great accuracy.
- Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
- Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned.
- Answering questions for all health care professionals.
- Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
- Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.
