About The Position

Baptist Nassau is looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to work in the AAU/ICU. They are looking for an experienced Critical Care RN on Day shift. Responsible for overseeing, directing, and providing care to patients requiring immediate treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Requirements

• ICU Experience Required
• Post- Surgical Nursing Experience Required
• Nursing Experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Responsibilities

• Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case.
• This position requires call.
• Responsible for overseeing, directing, and providing care to patients requiring immediate treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
