About The Position

Position Purpose: In this vital role, you will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care within our 340B outpatient pharmacy, ensuring safe and effective use of medications for our patients while maximizing access to affordable medications. Responsible for dispensing prescriptions and monitoring patient drug therapy in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards. This responsibility includes activities inclusive of, but not limited to medication order/prescription dispensing, compounding, monitoring of patient medication therapies, counseling patients, documenting interventions, providing drug information and supervising support personnel.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Licensure: Licensed in the State of Arizona or will consider candidates eligible for Arizona licensure
  • Must be able to distinguish color, sit approximately 37% of the time; stand 30%; walk 33%, and carry/lift 25 -75 pounds
  • Duties have possible, but not routine, potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, and exposure to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances
