About The Position

Hartford Hospital is actively hiring Pharmacists for our Community Pharmacy. We are looking for candidates who are eager to invest in their professional development and growth within a supportive environment. Hartford Hospital is a leading teaching hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Center, known for its cutting-edge treatments and advanced medical simulation training. The Hartford HealthCare Community Pharmacy (HHCCP), located on the hospital campus, serves diverse patient populations and offers a high-service community pharmacy experience, including free delivery within the Hartford area. HHCCP also specializes in filling and servicing specialty medications for various clinics, such as transplant, oncology, hepatitis, and infectious disease, with an integrated approach to patient care and home shipping. Additionally, the pharmacy has a program to fill and deliver medications to patients' bedside before discharge.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. or equivalent
• Current CT Pharmacist license or eligible within 45 days of hire.

• Prior pharmacy experience is not required, as the organization is looking to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Fill and service specialty medications for clinics including transplant, oncology, hepatitis, and infectious disease.
• Provide exceptional care and service through an integrated relationship with clinics.
• Ship patient medications to their homes.
• Fill and deliver medications to a patient's bedside before discharge.
