Growing together. We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis. This position will cover PTO and any leave of absences at the following pharmacy locations: Chestnut Health Systems, Inc.,12 North 64th Street Suite 6, Belleville, IL; Chestnut Health Systems, at Northgate, 50 Northgate Industrial Dr Room 717, Granite City, IL; Centerstone, 2615 Edwards Street Suite 102, Alton, IL; Chestnut Health Systems, 2148 Vadalabene Drive Suite 130, Maryville, IL. If willing our St. Louis locations.

Requirements

  • BA or PharmD in Pharmacy
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Illinois
  • Valid Driver's License and insurance
  • Willing to complete LAI Training and administer LAI

Nice To Haves

  • Current pharmacist license in state of Missouri
  • Retail Experience
  • Long Term Care/Assisted Living experience
  • Behavior or Mental Health experience

Responsibilities

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
