About The Position

Walgreens is hiring a pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmacy care and clinical healthcare services. The pharmacist will counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and cost-effective options; provide services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management; and promote medication safety through accurate compounding and dispensing and compliance with regulations. The role also includes mentoring and training pharmacy team members. Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.

Responsibilities
