About The Position
Under the supervision of the pharmacist in charge of the outpatient pharmacy, the Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients served by the hospital or outpatient pharmacy while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may include drug counseling, oversight of the meds-to-beds program, medication ordering, inventory management, vaccinations, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the pharmacist in charge of the outpatient pharmacy.
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients while ensuring patient safety.
- Provide patient drug counseling.

- Order medications and manage inventory.
