About The Position

In this essential role, the clinical pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital setting, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for all patients. As a key member of the healthcare team, the pharmacist is responsible for verifying medication orders, offering clinical guidance, and supporting optimal pharmacotherapy through collaboration with providers, nurses, and other care team members. The pharmacist will provide care across a variety of clinical settings, including but not limited to critical care, emergency medicine, neonatology, and general medicine. Requirements

  • Current CT Pharmacist license
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospital or long term care experience highly preferred
  • Pharm.D. preferred

Responsibilities

  • Verifying medication orders
