About The Position

Walgreens is hiring a pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmacy and clinical care. The role involves consulting with patients on medication use, side effects, and cost-effective options; delivering clinical services; and ensuring medication safety and regulatory compliance. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified immunizer, or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
