About The Position
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our private community retail pharmacy in Bronx, NY. We offer a friendly staff with a great positive work environment. This is a full-time position with set hours of Monday - Friday, 10 am - 6 pm, with no nights or weekends required. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Must hold current NY State license/registration to practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Retail experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use and potential side effects.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in all professional activities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
