About The Position
This Ambulatory Pharmacist position is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care for patients of UF Health Shands Hospital and the University of Florida Clinics. Will rotate duties between the Shands Outpatient and Medical Plaza Pharmacies. Must exercise professional judgment in evaluating all medication orders written for ambulatory patients.
Requirements
- Graduation from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy.
- Strong communication skills, able to operate a computer and interact in a clinic environment.
- Registered Pharmacist, or eligible, in the State of Florida.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in ambulatory practice and knowledge of insurance preferred.
- Pharm.D. and knowledge of a clinic specialty a plus.
