About The Position
UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join its inpatient pharmacy team on a rotating schedule. The role supports medication safety and patient care in a nationally recognized pediatric health system. Title and rate of pay will be based on education and experience. The Pharmacist reviews and verifies medication orders, ensures safe and accurate dispensing, provides drug information and clinical consultation to healthcare providers, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care, and supports medication safety and quality initiatives.
Requirements
- PharmD or equivalent degree.
- Current Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Pharmacist License.
- Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 clearances, with renewal.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
