About The Position
To provide distributive and clinical services surrounding the preparation, delivery, and administration of medications to inpatients of Shands Hospital.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school or college of pharmacy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to positively interact with professional and support personnel in the health science center.
- Registered pharmacist in the state of Florida or eligible for same.
- Must be accessible by telephone, requiring each employee to provide a telephone number to the department Staff Assistant, in order for the department to reach them in the event of hospital need and/or emergency.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in contemporary hospital pharmacy practice is highly desirable.
- Pharm.D. degree and/or completion of ASHP residency is highly preferred.
