About The Position
Shasta Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is a 226-bed acute care facility serving Northern California. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may encompass General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy required.
- APhA Immunization Certification required.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
- Provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to patients served by the hospital.
- Ensure patient safety.
