About The Position
A healthcare facility in Hood River, Oregon is seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment. The role involves providing outpatient and infusion pharmacy services, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing, and supporting patient care in a clinical setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience required
- Outpatient infusion pharmacist experience required
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail required
- Ability to work 4x10 day shift schedule required
Nice To Haves
- Previous outpatient pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- First-Time Travelers Accepted
Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify outpatient medications
- Support outpatient infusion pharmacy services
- Ensure safe and accurate medication preparation and distribution
- Review prescriptions and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
