Emergency Department Specialist FTE: 0.875 Shift: night Schedule: 7 on and 7 off Position Summary The Pharmacist is an exciting professional opportunity at MultiCare, ensuring prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services for patients, nurses and physicians. This position will offer you the capacity to apply your knowledge and expertise toward supporting quality health services and patient care.

Requirements

Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)

Responsibilities

Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions
Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records
Supervise support personnel and assumes responsibility for final check of all completed work
Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service
