About The Position

Freeman Home Care's mission is to improve the health of the communities they serve through contemporary, innovative, and quality healthcare solutions in the home care setting. The team of professionals shares common values, vision, and purpose, working closely with patients, families, and physicians to develop individualized care plans. Services include skilled nursing, skilled therapy, medical social work, and home health aide services. The Pharmacist Resident performs all aspects of pharmaceutical compounding and dispensing, provides drug information, supervises supportive personnel, and performs clinical functions to ensure efficacious and appropriate drug therapy. The resident will meet the requirements outlined in the Residency Training Manual. This position is full-time and limited to the duration of the residency.

Requirements

• Current Missouri Pharmacy Intern or Missouri Pharmacist License
• Missouri Pharmacist license with Medication Therapy Services Designation must be obtained by September 30th
• If hired after September 30th, Missouri Pharmacist license with Medication Therapy Services Designation required upon hire
• AHA ACLS within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of pharmaceutical compounding and dispensing
• Provides drug information
• Supervises supportive personnel
• Performs clinical functions as required to facilitate and ensure efficacious and appropriate drug therapy
• Will meet the requirements as outlined in the Residency Training Manual
