The Pharmacist Resident - Research Pharmacy department position at Texas Health Dallas is a full-time role for 40 hours per week, with day shifts typically from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The Research Pharmacy department offers a progressive practice environment with great teamwork, collaboration, and a fantastic learning atmosphere. Residents are accountable for managing their time, reducing pharmaceutical costs and waste, and discovering new efficiencies. They are responsible for providing optimal pharmaceutical care through clinical services and oversight of distribution technologies. The position also requires completing weekend, evening, and holiday shifts as needed during the residency year, ensuring accuracy in their work, and supporting departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is an 875-bed, full-service hospital serving the Dallas community since 1966, specializing in cancer care, cardiology, neurosciences, women’s services, and emergency medicine.
