This role involves reviewing every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to dispensing to an individual patient, including routine, stat and investigational orders. The Pharmacist will also maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical programs.
Requirements
- 3-5 years required Hospital pharmacy experience (or clinically relevant experience)
- Doctorate Degree Required
- New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure).
- New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure within 6 months)
Nice To Haves
- PGY1 preferred or BCOP ( or equivalent clinically relevant oncology experience)
- PGY-1 (or clinically relevant experience) preferred
- Oncology Board Certification (or eligible within 2 years)
Responsibilities
- Review every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to dispensing to an individual patient including routine, stat and investigational orders.
- Maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical programs.
