The Pharmacist delivers safe, effective, and patient-centered medication management for patients by integrating clinical expertise, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Through precise evaluation, compounding, dispensing, and monitoring of therapies—along with patient and caregiver education—this role optimizes therapeutic outcomes while reducing risk and improving adherence. By providing clinical leadership and operational support, the Pharmacist strengthens pharmacy performance, enhances care quality, and ensures consistent, high-value service across the continuum of care. Key Position Details: This role is a casual Per Diem role with a rate of pay of $82.99/hour Position will float between two sites: Faribault Medical Center and Owatonna Hospital 8-hour, day / evening shifts No required weekends Job Description: Provides optimal pharmaceutical care for patients and oversees medication management through the compounding and dispensing of prescribed medications, evaluation of patient medication therapies and outcomes, the performance of medication history evaluations, and providing consultation and education to patients about medications and their use. Provides pharmaceutical care for Home Infusion patients. Practices in accordance with all laws and regulations, following legal standards in all areas including, work rules, controlled substance requirements, state and federal regulations, and HIPAA regulations. May advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
