About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Pharmacist In Charge to lead day-to-day pharmacy operations in a professional retail pharmacy environment. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a licensed pharmacist with strong retail pharmacy management experience who can oversee pharmacy workflow, lead technicians, maintain medication inventory, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Active New York Pharmacist License — REQUIRED
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy management experience
• Previous retail pharmacy experience — REQUIRED
• Experience managing and leading Pharmacy Technicians
• Experience with a Pharmacy Patient Management System
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Candidates whose New York pharmacist license is in process or who have not yet received their NY license will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, workflow, and prescription fulfillment
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and legality
• Safely prepare and dispense medications
• Manage medication inventory, stocking, labeling, and expiration control
• Lead, schedule, and oversee Pharmacy Technicians
• Support technician performance management and development
• Maintain accurate patient profiles and dispensing records
• Provide medication information and guidance to customers
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local pharmacy regulations
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA and Fraud, Waste & Abuse requirements
• Ensure staff follow pharmacy policies and procedures
• Collaborate with senior management regarding staffing and operational needs
