The Pharmacist In Charge serves as the pharmacy supervisor for the assigned GLBHC Pharmacy location, performing duties related to personnel management, Quality Assurance and Quality Check activities, pharmacy operations, prescription orders, rational and safe drug therapy, and pharmacy economics. This role is listed as the Pharmacist in Charge on the State Licensing site. The position involves dispensing medications, preparing pharmaceuticals, reviewing physician orders, identifying therapeutic incompatibilities, and collaborating with medical staff for integrated patient care. The Pharmacist In Charge must comply with federal and state drug laws and regulations.
