About The Position
Under the auspices of the Director of Pharmacy, the staff pharmacist is responsible for assuring drug therapy needs. This individual establishes rapport with other departments as well as the medical staff and nursing services. He/she supervises department personnel in the absence of the Director or the Assistant Director.
Requirements
- Registered pharmacist, R.Ph. or Pharm.D in the State of California.
Nice To Haves
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Completed a hospital residency
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in hospital pharmacy practice or equivalent
- Familiarity with unit dose, IV admixtures, and clinical pharmacy practice.
