About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacist to join their Oncology team at Baptist MD Anderson. This role involves providing safe, evidence-based, cost-effective, and patient-centered medication management as part of an interdisciplinary team. The pharmacist will offer clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other staff in ambulatory clinics and, if clinically appropriate, inpatient settings. A high level of expertise is expected for recommending, designing, implementing, monitoring, and modifying pharmaceutical care plans to optimize patient outcomes. The role requires extensive clinical experience in disease state specialization and pharmacy practice, including medication safety, formulary management, pathway/guideline development, policy development/implementation, oncology reimbursement and coverage, and clinical research. The pharmacist will also play an active role in educating patients, family members, healthcare providers, and pharmacy students and residents.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required
  • Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required
  • Bachelor of Science Required
  • A Pharmacist license within the State of Florida is required.

Nice To Haves

  • In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy Experience is preferred
  • PGY1 Residency is preferred
