As our Pharmacist Certified Oncology Services you will provide critical clinical and operational oversight within a specialized hematology/oncology clinic, directly contributing to optimized patient care. This role focuses on the safe, efficacious, and cost-effective delivery of complex chemotherapy and infusion medications, including ancillary treatments, as an expert Oncology Pharmacist in a highly specialized setting. Every day you will deliver comprehensive clinical pharmaceutical services, demonstrating expert judgment and adhering to professional standards. Your responsibilities include meticulous medication dispensing, thorough patient counseling, and rigorous drug therapy monitoring. You'll also guide subordinate activities, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations and strict compliance with all established protocols and Board of Pharmacy regulatory requirements. To be successful in this role, you will combine clinical expertise in oncology pharmacy with strong leadership skills. Your success requires an unwavering commitment to patient safety, exceptional diagnostic abilities in drug therapy management, and the capacity to navigate a highly regulated environment. Sound judgment, effective staff coordination, and adherence to all pharmaceutical regulations specific to oncology care are paramount.
