About The Position
Catalent’s Chelsea, Massachusetts site is a GMP facility specializing in spray dry dispersion and dry powder inhaler capsule manufacturing and packaging. The Pharmaceutical Technician II independently executes GMP manufacturing unit operations and supports troubleshooting across multiple areas, contributing to reliable execution, high-quality production, and operational excellence. This is a 100% onsite position on a 2/2/3 schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of GMP.
Responsibilities
- Execute GMP manufacturing operations independently across multiple unit operations, including spray drying, blending, encapsulation, and packaging.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation.
- Coordinate material handling and staging activities.
- Assist in deviation investigations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and process deviations.
- Identify and recommend process improvements.
- Adjust equipment within defined process limits.
- Interface with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
