About The Position

Catalent’s Chelsea, Massachusetts site is a global Center of Excellence for spray dry dispersion and dry powder inhaler capsule manufacturing and packaging. The GMP facility supports inhalation drug products from clinical development through commercial launch and provides services including powder processing, capsule filling, blister packaging, and on-site quality control and analytical testing.

The Pharmaceutical Technician II independently executes GMP manufacturing unit operations and supports troubleshooting across multiple areas. The role focuses on reliable execution and promptly identifying issues to help ensure high-quality production and operational excellence. The position is based 100% onsite in Chelsea, Massachusetts, with a 2/2/3 schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

• Working knowledge of GMP.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute GMP manufacturing operations across multiple unit operations, including spray drying, blending, encapsulation, and packaging.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate material handling and staging activities.
• Assist with deviation investigations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and process deviations.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Adjust equipment within defined process limits.
• Interface with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
