We currently have a role available for a Pharmaceutical Purification Chemist.

Requirements

BS - Chemistry or related field with 3-6 years of industry experience (preferably pharma). MS - Chemistry with 1-3 years of industry experience would also be considered.
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Works well both within a team and as an individual.
Proven ability to work under high-pressure environments preferred.
Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ChemStation software recommended.
Prep-LC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Purifying small molecule samples using one or more of the following: HPLC - Reversed phase purification using Agilent 1100/1200/1260/1290 series. Familiarity with ChemStation software recommended.
Prep-LC experience strongly preferred.
ISCO Combiflash and ACCQPrep.
Chiral purification using LC and SFC systems.
Performing purification instrument maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Providing critical feedback to improve workflow and chemistry performance and implementation of best practices.
