We currently have a role available for a Pharmaceutical Purification Chemist.

Requirements

  • BS - Chemistry or related field with 3-6 years of industry experience (preferably pharma). MS - Chemistry with 1-3 years of industry experience would also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Works well both within a team and as an individual.
  • Proven ability to work under high-pressure environments preferred.
  • Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ChemStation software recommended.
  • Prep-LC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Purifying small molecule samples using one or more of the following: HPLC - Reversed phase purification using Agilent 1100/1200/1260/1290 series. Familiarity with ChemStation software recommended.
  • Prep-LC experience strongly preferred.
  • ISCO Combiflash and ACCQPrep.
  • Chiral purification using LC and SFC systems.
  • Performing purification instrument maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Providing critical feedback to improve workflow and chemistry performance and implementation of best practices.
