About The Position

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated life sciences patent disputes before federal courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), while collaborating with a highly regarded team representing leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Requirements

• Experience in complex patent litigation matters involving life sciences, medical devices, and/or pharmaceutical technologies.
• Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member of the Bar in the United States.
• Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.

Nice To Haves

• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), or eligibility to obtain such registration.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex patent litigation matters involving life sciences, medical devices, and/or pharmaceutical technologies, including Hatch-Waxman litigation.
• Provide strategic dispute counseling.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Work closely with technical and expert witnesses.
• Manage complex litigation matters.
• Provide exceptional client service.
