About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters for innovative clients across the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated life sciences patent disputes before federal courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), while collaborating with a highly regarded team representing leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Requirements

• Experience in complex patent litigation matters involving life sciences, medical devices, and/or pharmaceutical technologies, including Hatch-Waxman litigation and strategic dispute counseling.
• Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member of the Bar in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), or eligibility to obtain such registration.
