About The Position

The Pharmaceutical Development Technician I is responsible for performing setup/teardown, manufacture, and cleaning of all equipment and processes associated with manufacturing operations under supervision from senior technicians. This role is crucial for ensuring cGMP compliance and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety within the facility. The technician will focus on learning all equipment and testing within the core group while upholding quality standards and staying current with training on equipment and site procedures. Additionally, the role involves supporting sampling and packaging of materials, maintaining inventory, and performing physical characterization testing.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to manage priorities and projects prioritizing effectively
  • Must communicate clearly with all levels of management
  • Capability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Maintains current knowledge of cGMP regulations and regulatory trends as they pertain to the stated responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Performing setup/teardown, manufacture, and cleaning of all equipment and processes associated with manufacturing operations under supervision.
  • Ensuring cGMP compliance and generally good housekeeping.
  • Ensuring that all Catalent safety procedures are followed and identifying/communicating necessary adjustments to address potential safety concerns.
  • Ensuring the proper use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
  • Learning all equipment and testing within the core group while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Maintaining up-to-date training on equipment and site procedures.
  • Performing daily tasks to ensure that working areas are stocked with proper materials and supplies.
  • Performing physical characterization testing on raw and in-process materials.
  • Supporting sampling and packaging of in-process and finish product material.
  • Maintaining active inventory of excipients and API used for Experimental processing.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.
