About The Position
SDS-Rx is seeking multiple independent contractors to complete residential medical delivery routes in the Buffalo area. As a Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver, you will drive with purpose, making important medical deliveries to people in need. This role involves delivering packages, not people, ensuring you never have to worry about who is getting into your car. The routes are typically in the afternoon and evening, generally staying within the Buffalo metro area and taking 2-3 hours to complete.
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
- No more than 3 combined at-fault accidents and/or moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Own your own vehicle (2011 or newer Sedan, SUV or Minivan required).
- Carry current vehicle insurance and meet $100/300k Bodily Injury coverage minimum requirement.
- Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Location may require you to obtain an LLC if you do not already have one.
Responsibilities
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules for accepted routes/jobs.
- Deliver a variety of pharmaceuticals and equipment.
- Use own vehicle to complete accepted delivery jobs.
- Load and unload totes/bags (generally under 20lbs).
- Handle delivery paperwork as instructed.
- Use own smartphone to enter delivery information.
