About The Position
Under the direction of the Outpatient Services Manager and or Supervisor identifies requests to schedule outpatient procedures and insurances requiring pre-authorization. Handles a high degree of pressure, heavy workloads, multiple requests with interruptions in a positive manner establishing priorities for effective work completion. Adapts quickly to changing conditions assimilating new process into job functions.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent/GED.
- Minimum of one year prior insurance experience such as scheduling, patient registration, pre-authorization.
- Experience in Microsoft Word.
Responsibilities
- Identifies requests to schedule outpatient procedures and insurances requiring pre-authorization.
- Handles a high degree of pressure, heavy workloads, multiple requests with interruptions in a positive manner establishing priorities for effective work completion.

- Maintains and operates office equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
