About The Position
The Fulton County Board of Health provides a variety of services that help protect residents from health threats, increase access to health services to improve health outcomes, and provide information that assists Fulton County citizens in living healthier lives. The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of PH Envir Compl Specialist 1 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Community Health Services/Environmental Health Division.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, which includes the completion of 27 semester or 40 quarter hours in laboratory sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology, geology, physics, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Inspect various types of food service establishments , public swimming pools, tourist accommodations, body art establishments , and onsite sewage management systems.
- Investigate complaints related to rodents , and mosquitoes within regulated facilities .
- May assist with reviewing plans and recommending enforcement action as necessary.
