Our Golf Operations Internship provides future PGA Professionals with hands-on experience in golf operations, member and guest service, and professional golf tournament management at a premier golf facility. Interns work alongside experienced Golf Professionals and gain practical, supervised experience that supports progress toward PGA of America Membership while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in golf. Two internship opportunities are available: Inside Golf Operations – Gain experience in golf shop operations, member and guest service, merchandising, tee time management, tournaments, and day-to-day golf administration. Outside Golf Operations – Develop experience in player services, golf car and bag operations, practice facility management, course setup, and creating an exceptional arrival-to-departure experience for members and guests. Intern responsibilities and opportunities will vary based on the intern's experience and progress within their Professional Golf Management (PGM) program and/or PGA of America program. All levels emphasize TPC's commitment to service excellence, professional development, and the TPC Vision, Mission, and Values.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Professional Golf Management (PGM) program or pursuing a career as a PGA Professional.
  • Eager to learn, contribute, and develop skills in a premier golf environment.
  • Service-minded.

  • Ready to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in golf shop operations, member and guest service, merchandising, tee time management, tournaments, and day-to-day golf administration.
  • Develop experience in player services, golf car and bag operations, practice facility management, course setup, and creating an exceptional arrival-to-departure experience for members and guests.
  • Support progress toward PGA of America Membership.
  • Develop skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in golf.
  • Support PGA TOUR-level tournament operations.
  • Gain exposure to both member-focused club operations and professional tournament management.
  • Receive mentorship and professional development from experienced Golf Professionals.
