About The Position

TPC River Highlands, a private golf club and host of the PGA TOUR's Travelers Championship, is offering a Golf Operations Internship. This program provides aspiring PGA Professionals with hands-on experience in golf operations, member and guest service, and professional golf tournament management. Interns will work with experienced Golf Professionals to gain supervised experience supporting their progress toward PGA of America Membership and developing skills for a successful career in golf. Two internship tracks are available: Inside Golf Operations (golf shop, merchandising, tournaments) and Outside Golf Operations (player services, golf car/bag operations, practice facility management). Responsibilities will vary based on the intern's program and progress. All roles emphasize TPC's commitment to service excellence and professional development.

• Students currently enrolled in a Professional Golf Management (PGM) program.
• Pursuing a career as a PGA Professional.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in golf shop operations, member and guest service, merchandising, tee time management, tournaments, and day-to-day golf administration (Inside Golf Operations).
• Develop experience in player services, golf car and bag operations, practice facility management, course setup, and creating an exceptional arrival-to-departure experience for members and guests (Outside Golf Operations).
• Support PGA TOUR-level tournament operations.
• Gain supervised work experience toward PGA of America Membership.
• Engage in member-focused club operations and professional tournament management.
• Participate in mentorship and professional development from experienced Golf Professionals.
