This position will report to a Regional Plant General Manager and will be responsible for driving best in class Safety and environmental performance, responsible for all aspects of operations and maintenance to maximize plant reliability and development of high-performance teams to support 24/7 operations. This position will be based out of our Fort Myers power plants. The successful candidate for this position shall be able to manage all aspects of site business and operations, achieving all production and business targets while maintaining an injury-free work site. Combined cycle power plant operations experience required.

Requirements

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • 7+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of Supervisor/Management Experience
  • Combined cycle power plant operations experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge and experience within power plant operations, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Six Sigma Certification; Yellow Belt or higher
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Engineering Technology, Operations Management, or similar)
  • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and relevant certifications will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership in all aspects of operation and maintenance
  • Manages the technical performance of the plant
  • Develops and manages site budget
  • Leads the safety of the facility and personnel
  • Complies with all regulations and policies
  • Oversees personnel development and succession planning
  • Drives the continuous improvement of performance
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
