PGD Central Maintenance Planner (remote option)
About The Position
This is a temporary project role for a PGD Central Maintenance Planner with an estimated duration of 12+ months, potentially with extensions. The position offers a remote option and requires routine interface with site personnel, fleet engineering, and the central maintenance organization. The role involves performing jobsite walk-downs, validating scope for Overhaul Projects, developing Mechanical Maintenance Work Order packages, supporting procurement, developing procedures, and establishing cost and schedule estimates. The planner must meet Major Maintenance Process commitments despite shifting priorities and workload demands.
Requirements
- Experience in Routine interface with site personnel, fleet engineering, and the central maintenance organization
Nice To Haves
- Experience with power plant maintenance and/or planning
- Experience with IBM Maximo
- Experience with technical procedure writing
- Quality Belt certification (e.g., Six Sigma)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Responsibilities
- Perform jobsite walk-downs and scope validation for Overhaul Projects
- Develop job-specific Mechanical Maintenance Work Order packages for Overhaul Projects
- Support procurement of materials and services
- Develop procedures for execution of work
- Establish accurate work order cost and schedule estimates
- Interface routinely with site personnel, fleet engineering, and the central maintenance organization
- Meet established Major Maintenance Process commitments amid shifting priorities and workload demands
