About The Position

The PFEP Tech (Associate Supply Chain Analyst) will be responsible for performing multiple functions supporting the daily material flow and warehousing operations. A variety of responsibilities are core to the role that will influence internal process, business decisions, and external supply partner performance. The Associate Supply Chain Analyst will impact and develop centralized process in areas of demand planning, warehousing, material flow, and inventory management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or /GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Basic understanding of the supervisory principles to include problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Effective verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient software application skills; preferred Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Kronos, Workday.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Ability to meet required goals and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in supervisory or team lead role a plus.
  • Experience in process improvement; LEAN or continuous improvement certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collect piece part data by physically analyzing parts on the production floor and at the distribution center
  • Develop and maintain PFEP spreadsheet using all materials needed (processes, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain Kanban cards and distribute to line utility and/or production supervisor
  • Routinely review packaging requirements and communicate necessary changes to Planners and Packaging Engineers
  • Review all parts related safety incidents and work with both the EHS department and materials personnel to reduce safety hazards
  • Facilitate training of associates on the process for consumption of materials, Kanban, and equipment
  • Validate and develop supermarket Kanban location inventory integrity
  • Collaborate with Purchasing/Planners and suppliers to establish reorder points, replenishment quantities, standard packs and alternative procurement methods
  • Assist in establishing material flow routes, material handling delivery methods and storage of material
  • Assist in standardizing returnable containers program
  • Collaborate with industrial engineers to develop material presentation methods and install at point of use in ergonomic standards
  • Monitor inventory levels to include safety stock, WIP, obsolete, and production stock
  • Support other material-related projects as required
  • Obtain CPIM certification within 24 months of date of hire
  • Other duties as assigned
