Intern- Petroleum Engineer
About The Position
The Subsurface Operations team focuses on subsurface engineering, focusing on the design, implementation, and monitoring of Class VI injection wells and gas storage projects. Interns will assist in the analysis and interpretation of subsurface data, support the design and optimization of injection and storage wells, and participate in field drilling operations and data collection. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. Interns will learn about gas storage field operations, CO2 well design and monitoring, and how to present subsurface data and project results to various audiences.
Requirements
- Student actively enrolled in an approved Petroleum Engineering degree program with expected graduation date of December 2026 – May 2028
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic understanding of subsurface engineering principles.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
