About The Position
The Subsurface Operations team focuses on subsurface engineering, focusing on the design, implementation, and monitoring of Class VI injection wells and gas storage projects. This internship will provide hands-on experience in analyzing subsurface data, supporting well design and optimization, and participating in field operations. Interns will learn about the operation of gas storage fields, the design and monitoring of CO2 wells, and how to present technical data to various audiences.
Requirements
- Student actively enrolled in an approved Petroleum Engineering degree program with expected graduation date of December 2026 – May 2028
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic understanding of subsurface engineering principles.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of subsurface data.
- Support the design and optimization of injection and storage wells.
- Participate in field drilling operations and data collection.
