You'll be part of a skilled construction crew installing, upgrading, and removing petroleum fueling systems at commercial sites throughout the region. You'll work outdoors on active construction projects alongside an experienced team committed to quality and safety.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of petroleum construction, UST installation/removal, or fuel system installation experience
  • Experience operating excavation equipment safely and efficiently
  • Working knowledge of underground fuel systems, piping, tank components, and containment systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and construction specifications
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices and job site procedures
  • Experience working independently while contributing to a construction crew
  • Willingness to travel regionally as project needs require
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check.
  • Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past five years.

  • ICC UST Installer/Remover Certification
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER
  • Confined Space Certification
  • Additional petroleum industry certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Installing and removing underground storage tanks (USTs)
  • Operating excavators, backhoes, skid steers, and other construction equipment
  • Installing underground piping, sumps, spill containment, and monitoring systems
  • Assisting with tank and fuel line testing
  • Collecting soil samples during tank removals
  • Reading blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings
  • Completing daily reports, inspection documentation, and compliance paperwork
  • Following OSHA, EPA, and state environmental and safety regulations
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site
