Pet Paradise is looking for a Professional, Friendly, and Motivated Pet Stylist/Groomer to join our team! Requirements

One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Customer service oriented and excellent verbal communication skills
Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds and be able to handle a variety of sizes of canines and felines safely and comfortably
Great work ethic, organized, reliable, and a team player
Must maintain a clean and healthy environment for ‘guests’
Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak time

Nice To Haves

Friday and Sunday availability is a plus
For individuals with less than one year of Grooming experience, there may be further discussions regarding completion of parts of our Grooming Training Program through the Paragon School.

Responsibilities

Providing customer service in the form of consultations and explanation of services available/rendered with explanation of costs
Ability and stamina to cut several ‘guests’ a day
Checking for parasites, lumps, bumps, or cuts prior to bathing
Cleaning and plucking ears, trimming nails, expressing anal glands
Bathing ‘guests’ in proper shampoo and conditioner; de-matting, brushing, and fluff drying
Performing all general maintenance of grooming room; cleaning cages, tubs, tables; vacuuming floors and mopping; cleaning clipper blades, scissors, and brushes after use
