About The Position

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring an experienced Pet Care Professional for Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. The ideal candidate will be available as needed between 7 am-3 pm, Monday-Friday, and be local to Providence/Cranston/Warwick. This role involves visiting clients' homes to care for their pets, including walking and exercising dogs, providing feeding and medication, and ensuring the animals' comfort and well-being. A separate evening/weekend position is also available. The company has been in business since 2006, offering dog walking, pet sitting (dogs, cats, and other small animals), and overnight pet sitting. They pride themselves on professionalism and a passion for animal care.

Requirements

• Love dogs and/or cats
• Enjoy the outdoors and being active
• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smart phone
• Ability to work well independently
• Good communication skills/customer service skills
• Desire a flexible schedule
• Love to learn
• Seeking part time work or supplemental income
• Prior experience working / volunteering with animals (dogs / cats, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walking and exercising dogs
• Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
• Providing love & attention to pets
• Feeding pets
• Administering medication
• Providing fresh water
• Cleaning up after animals, including litter boxes
• Leave a note for clients after each visit detailing how the visits went
