About The Position

Creekside Pet Care Center is seeking a full-time Pet Lodge Attendant for its busy, 24/7 veterinary clinic. The attendant cares for animals being groomed or boarded, as well as clinic patients, and provides their basic needs, including walking, cleaning, and feeding. Creekside Pet Care Center is a full-service veterinary hospital with onsite grooming, daycare, and boarding services in the Keller/Southlake area of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be reliable, communicate clearly with staff and owners, work independently, and have a passion for dogs of all sizes and personalities.
• Be friendly, organized, and customer-service driven.
• Be able to work in an extremely fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Have a passion for animal welfare.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, if required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working in a dog daycare facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect ward areas as often as necessary.
• Feed animals appropriately according to the client-signed boarding release and given instructions.
• Handle and take charge of animals as required by their boarding package and clinic policies.
• Walk boarded dogs at appropriate intervals.
