About The Position

Creekside Pet Care Center is hiring a full-time Pet Lodge Attendant for its busy, 24/7 veterinary clinic. The attendant provides care and basic needs for animals being groomed or boarded, as well as patients at the hospital. Duties include walking, cleaning, and feeding boarded and hospitalized animals. Creekside is a full-service veterinary hospital with onsite grooming, daycare, boarding, and emergency care, serving the Keller/Southlake area of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be reliable and communicate clearly with staff and owners.
• Be able to work independently.
• Have a passion for dogs of all sizes and personalities.
• Be friendly, organized, and customer-service driven.
• Be able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Have a passion for animal welfare.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working in a dog daycare facility.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect ward areas as often as necessary.
• Feed animals according to the instructions on the client-signed boarding release.
• Handle and care for animals as directed by their boarding package and Creekside Pet Care Center policies.
• Walk boarded dogs at appropriate intervals.
